Overview

Early morning you will set off your journey to Mirissa in the south to meet the famous mammals, Whales. In Mirissa you will have the opportunity to see whales & dolphins.

This is an exhilarating journey in the Mirissa ocean in search of whales & dolphins. The boat will set off at 07 a.m from Mirissa harbour and the ride is approx 3 hrs.

 

Note: Departing from Colombo / Negombo/ Bentota / Galle / Kalutara / Kandy / Yala / Weligama / Tangalle / Hambantota

Do’s

  • Leave around 4 a.m from Colombo. Whale watching starts at 7 a.m from Mirissa Harbour
  • Keep your camera handy to capture precious moments
  • Tip the driver / chauffeur guide if you are happy with their services
  • Respect all the cultures
  • Follow site instructions all the time. Eg. Photography
  • Traffic  can be terrific. Please be patient
  • Engage in various water sports
  • Take some “vomita” tablets if you are prone to sea sick & vomiting
